Marcus Ross: An Ambition to Act
Producers of the new film Search Dog's Raven, contacted the McBride Career Group to find a wheelchair bound actor. With some film courses on his resume and an interest in acting, McBride encouraged Marcus to apply.
Director Allex Michael: "When I asked our producer 'Lynn Wood' to find an actor in a wheelchair, I assumed candidates would have mobility in their arms. I skimmed Marc's resume, and saw the word quadriplegic, but didn't really think about what it meant. Needless to say, I was a bit surprised when we met. He was the best candidate for the part and I immediately started thinking about ways to fit him into the script."
