Allex Michael: "Though we had to rework the script, the story's future technologies and the set to accomodate the extent of his disabilites, I am so glad we hired Marcus. Not only because he's smart, very thoughtful and put a lot of effort into his role, but because having a quadriplegic in the film is enlightening. Paralysis could happen to any one of us, and it's good to see how future technologies could improve a person's life.
Plus, it's great to see a disabled person doing well for themselves. Christopher Reeves is the only quadriplegic actor I had seen, and I think we're all going to see a lot more of Marcus Ross."
